Michelle Lewin was born in Maracay, Venezuela. Her parents split when she was a young child, and things soon took a financial turn for the worst. Her mother struggled to support the family, and Michelle often went without food. When Michelle was a teenager, this developed into borderline anorexia. To hide her underweight body, Michelle would wear long sleeve shirts and pants.
Michelle had an interest in being a model, so as soon as she could, she tried to develop a modeling career. She walked many catwalks, but she struggled in the industry. Michelle Lewin has to endure disrespect and mean behavior from modeling agencies in Milan, Rome, and Barcelona. Her height was heavily criticized, and this left Michelle feeling low.
When Michelle was 17, she began to take working out more seriously and quickly became a gym rat. When asked what motivates her, she responded that she isn’t inspired to workout by comparing herself to other athletes in her field. Instead, she is motivated by what she sees in the mirror. When she sees a new vein pop out or small adaptations to her body, that is what drives her.
Michelle’s introduction to the competitive world of bodybuilding and fitness modeling first began at the urging of a close friend. Michelle was encouraged to enter her first NPC bikini competition by a close friend, and this lead to Michelle becoming even more engulfed into fitness and working out.
In early 2008, Michelle met her now husband Jimmy Lewin. The two had an intense and intimate relationship and decided to marry in 2010. Jimmy now acts not only has Michelle’s husband and life partner, but also as her manager and fitness trainer.
Michelle and her husband has shaped her not only into a fitness model to be inspired by, but also into a very successful business woman. She has fans all over the world who she keeps in contact with via her prolific social media presence. Michelle has over 13 million Instagram followers and over 380,000 YouTube subscribers. She also has a Facebook and Twitter following of 7 million and 453,000 respectively.
Michelle has grown from a young child struggling with anorexia and body image issues to a grown woman who is proud of her body and works hard to maintain it, and her story is proof that an impoverished childhood doesn’t have to negatively impact the rest of your life.

Michelle likes to make sure she sweats during her workouts. She likes to do HIIT workouts, and she makes sure that she doesn’t rest too long. Michelle’s top three exercises are lunges, sprints, and side lateral raises. She likes these three exercises specifically because she likes the way they burn fat while also sculpting and tightening the body.
